Updated Schedule of Summer Art Classes at The Shop Downtown, 2011!
If you are reading this, then it is probably
safe to say that you love art, or know
someone who does. Looking at others’
paintings in a gallery or feeling the goopy
swoosh of paint onto the tooth of a canvas
really seems to satisfy a craving (and yes,
goopy can be an art term). Take an art class
with Caitlin E. Demel this July or August
so you can finally put this love to use.
Classes will be held at The Shop Downtown,
located at 621 N. Main St. in Schulenburg,
TX. Not only will each class fulfill
your artistic craving, but you will also have
the opportunity to feature your final art
creations at an end-of-session art exhibition.

Teen/Preteen Courses for August:
Illustration!: Brain to Paper:
Students will definitely be pulling artistic skills out of their tool belts with this course of the wits. The class will cover the skills of painting, drawing, and the use of mixed media as it is tied back to literature. One class will be held every Tuesday and another every Thursday. A young artists’ exhibition will also be held on Saturday, September 3rd. Sign up soon, as there are limited spaces. The class is appropriate for all skill levels.
$85.00 course fee, all supplies provided.
